The Meddler (real name John, last name unknown) is a time-traveller whose brother Henry invents a time machine. In 1995 The Meddler attempts to go back in time to 1974 in order to save Bobbi Joy from becoming scarred. He originally plans to kill the policeman who causes the scar, but is convinced by the patrons of Callahan's Place to a less violent solution by hiring her for the night to get her clear of the raid.
